Adobe InDesign: making it faster and more efficient using a better workflow
9 –11 AM

This 2-hour seminar will overview and work hands on with advanced InDesign Paragraph and Character Style features. Topics will include: creating Nested Paragraph Styles and Nested Lines; Paragraph Rules, Paragraph Shading, and Paragraph Frames; Keep Option Features; Next Style; working with long documents and Master pages; and GREP features. In addition, we will also review Preflight features, packaging, and how to publish online. Class may may also explore XML features to repurpose InDesign Files to different formats.

Adobe InDesign: From print to digital publication
2 – 5 PM

This 3-hour seminar will overview and work hands-on with interactive InDesign features. Topics will include: creating Liquid Layout and using Content Collector and Content Placer; creating a slideshow using Object State and Interactive Buttons; working with PDF interactive forums; and creating animation and embedding interactive media. In addition, we will review export options such as Interactive PDF, e-book options, and publish online. Class may may also explore XML features to repurpose InDesign Files to different formats.

Adobe XD: A look into UX/UI design (XD presentation)
5 – 6 PM 

This one-hour seminar will focus on creating a prototype for a website using Adobe XD.
Topics will include: Using Templates and Wire Frame with XD features; Symbols; Libraries; and Layers. We will look at creating a workflow with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, as well as creating a link to show the client the final product. Attendees can bring their own images and graphics and can work toward creating their own prototype based on the class demo.

She contributes to the Creative Community with tutorials, advice, and resources through her Adobe User Group, Adobe affiliated programs, webinars, online venues, and industry events.

Chana is an Adobe Certified Expert, Adobe Partner, Adobe Community Professional, a member of the Adobe Freelance Team, Adobe Education Leader, and an Adobe User Group Manager. As such she has been invited to present at Adobe events across the U.S. and overseas. Teaching at the university level for 30+ years in the fields of Fine Art and Digital Imaging.
