UPDATE 3/3/2020: Due to uncertainty around the spread of the Coronavirus, Julie Sanduski will be presenting remotely from Washington State as Adobe has suspended all air travel until further notice. All other programming for the evening, including door prizes and general AIGA chapter info, will proceed as planned.
In this new era of design, we move away from the linear “take, make, dispose” model and towards a more circular future – where we consider the life of the product, beyond the end-user. In this talk, 2019 Adobe Creative Resident, Julie Sanduski will introduce you to the principles of "circular design" and how she incorporates these into her process as she designs solutions to reduce food waste.
Donations to help secure future programs and services from AIGA Alaska are always welcome, but in no way mandatory. Pre-registration is not required for this event, however, seating is limited based on venue capacity.
